A Palos Verdes Estates homeowner and Managing Director of Marketing Science at OMD, where he leads analytics for major national brands. Brian holds an MBA from the University of Hawaiʻi and a BS in Economics from Boston College. After years of PVHA elections failing to reach quorum, Brian filed the petition that led the Superior Court to order reform of the Association's election process — restoring the very vote that makes this ballot possible. He's focused on modernizing board procedure, strengthening fiduciary oversight, and ensuring election rules remain fair, transparent, and accessible to every homeowner.

Nonprofit leader, attorney, and mother of four who has called PVE home since 2017. Kim co-founded the Pink Lemonade Stand Challenge, a national breast cancer nonprofit, and previously held senior legal and corporate governance roles at IBM, Citigroup, and Walgreens. She served on PVHA's Elections Committee in 2020 and is running for the Board for the fourth time — in each prior attempt, quorum was never met and ballots went uncounted, deepening her commitment to real homeowner representation.

A PVE native and 15-year PVHA homeowner who has personally navigated the Association's renovation and Art Jury process. Carolyn holds a PhD in epidemiology and biostatistics from Johns Hopkins and recently retired from the research faculty at City of Hope Cancer Center. She organized a 2026 neighborhood petition for wildfire defensible space on the PV Golf Course parkland, and is committed to greater PVHA outreach, service, and accountability to homeowners.

Fiscal & Policy Responsibility

Restore accountable goverence after seventeen years without a valid Board election. Align quorum requirements with modern California HOA standards so every member's vote counts, ballots are actually opened and counted, and the Board follows its own election rules — transparently, not selectively.

Provide full member access to Association documents, meeting minutes, and legal proceedings, as required by law. Restore walk-in hours (cut 88%, from 24 hours a week to just 3) and end practices that make it harder and more expensive for members to get answers or approvals.

Reduce member fees. End no-bid vendor contracts and unnecessary legal spending. Streamline the Art Jury approval process to reduce costs and delays. Defend the covenants that protect our community's character, and support wildfire hardening improvements with minimal red tape.
